At MIM, we prioritize research and development to stay at the forefront of metering technologies. Our collaborations with esteemed organizations like Kaifa, Landis+Gyr, University Technology Petronas, and Panasonic enhance our innovative efforts. Our products meet international standards, certified by Yadav Measurements and Underwriters Laboratories International. With an accredited Calibration and Testing Laboratory, we uphold MS ISO/IEC 17025:2005 standards and implement a robust Quality Management System. We are proud to export our 100% Malaysian technology to countries including Indonesia, Thailand, and Pakistan. Our commitment to continuous improvement drives our mission to lower costs for customers in a competitive energy market.
Manufacturing Plant
MIM’s manufacturing plant spans 52,000 square feet in Temasya Industrial Park, with a capacity of 112,320 Single Phase and 48,000 Three Phase meters monthly. Focusing on final assembly, we conduct in-house PCB design and production, ensuring quality through In-Circuit Testing (ICT) and Functionality Circuit Testing (FCT). Our meters utilize six molds crafted from Polycarbonate V-0 material, capable of producing 300,000 cycles. Accredited with MS ISO/IEC 17025:2005 since 2007, we adhere to rigorous calibration and testing standards. Our commitment to quality and sustainability includes implementing 5S standards and pursuing ISO 14001 certification for Green Technology compliance.
Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI)
Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) refers to an integrated system of smart meters, communication networks, and data management systems that enables two-way communication between utilities and consumers. AMI enhances the monitoring and management of energy consumption, improving operational efficiency and customer engagement.
MIM’s focus on manufacturing high-quality energy meters supports AMI by providing accurate and reliable data for utilities. Our in-house production capabilities, including PCB design and rigorous testing, ensure that our meters meet international standards. By implementing advanced technologies and collaborating with organizations for calibration and testing, MIM contributes to the evolution of AMI, facilitating better energy management, reducing costs, and promoting sustainable practices in the energy sector.
